Golden View’s upscale seasonal dining menu offers residents meal options that change daily, keeping the menu fresh above all else. At Golden View, meals are not just about the food. Our staff are dedicated to providing a dining experience with personalized service and a comfortable atmosphere, complete with light music playing in the background.
For many, meals provide an opportunity to be social. Often heard are conversations sharing the latest update about children, grandchildren and even great-grandchildren, incoming weather, the day’s activities, regional sports and more.
Our green-thumbed residents also maintain a vegetable garden. When the vegetables are ready, they’re turned into delicious culinary treats during our popular “Cooking Creations” activity.
Not quite dinner time yet? Not to worry, we have a variety of in-between meal snacks and sweets available.
All Golden View residents and guests have access to the expertise of our in-house registered dietician. The dietician plays a vital role in the interdisciplinary team, collaborating with physicians, speech therapists, nurses, residents and guests and their families. Not only does the dietician evaluate the overall menu, but they also assess and monitor residents and guests to watch for developing risk factors, as well as provide additional services to individuals at risk for developing health issues and those that are recovering from an illness or surgery. For those returning home or to a lesser level of care, nutritional consultation and education with individuals, their family and caregivers gives them the tools for lifelong nutritional health.
