My mother had a wonderful rehabilitation experience at Golden View. She still talks about the friendly staff, the clean facility, she felt safe at all times with out threat or fear of falling. Mom comments still on how there was always a staff member to help her to the bathroom, get dressed as well as washed up.

Her medications were always on time with all explanation to her of any changes. She remarks on how comfortable she was in her chair by the window waiting each day for her two visits from the physical therapy, speech and occupational therapy. They were always upbeat and happy. They lifted my spirits each day."

Educational Opportunities

Community - our new space for community and staff education

As an independent community based non-profit, this space for educational purposes was incorporated into the design of The Retreat, our new Transitional Care Center. It offers wireless internet, smart tv for presentations, a kitchenette and more, allowing Golden View to continue to provide valuable educational opportunities at little or no cost, without disrupting our guests and residents.

2015 RAT Training at Golden View

On June 11, 2015, Golden View will host a RAT training course led by instructors trained by the Bureau of Health Facilities Administration. The RAT Trainings are for any direct care staff, facility administrators, owners, or newly-hired staff who are currently conducting resident assessments. To register, please click here.

Alzheimer Caregiver Support Group: Last Tuesday of Each Month at 6:00pm

The Only Central NH Support Group Certified by the Alzheimer's Association

Don't go it alone. Alzheimer's is a challenging disease and upwards of 25% of adults in the US and Canada are presently caring for an aging parent or relative.

Are you looking for someone to talk to, someone who understands what it's like to deal with Alzheimer's disease? Whether you've just been diagnosed or you're caring for a loved one, joining a support group could be a great way to find people who understand what you're experiencing. Support groups help members feel better prepared to cope with their unique situation. Support group members report feeling less alone, more able to confront their daily problems, and more hopeful about their future. The advantages of joining a support group are limitless.

In recognizing the impact a support group can have, Golden View has partnered with the Alzheimer's Association, and is currently the only certified Alzheimer's Caregiver Support group available in the Lakes Region and greater Plymouth area.
